Suite 8 Digital, LLC (“Suite 8”) provides research and consulting services across a range of products, services, industries, and human experiences.

Suite 8 is committed to conducting work in a lawful, ethical, respectful, and non-exploitative manner. This Content Compliance Policy describes categories of work Suite 8 may decline or discontinue.
1. Lawful and Ethical Use

Suite 8 will not knowingly provide services that are intended to facilitate, promote, or support:

  • Illegal activity
  • Fraud, deception, or scams
  • Exploitation, trafficking, or coercion
  • Non-consensual sexual activity or content
  • Sexual exploitation or sexual content involving minors
  • Harassment, stalking, threats, or intimidation
  • Hate or discrimination targeting protected groups
  • Unlawful surveillance or invasion of privacy
  • Development or distribution of malicious software or other intentionally harmful technologies
  • Other activity that Suite 8 reasonably believes presents a substantial risk of harm or violates applicable law
2. Adult and Sensitive Subject Matter

Suite 8 may work on research involving adult, intimate, sexual, reproductive, health-related, or otherwise sensitive topics.

The presence of adult or sensitive subject matter does not by itself make an engagement inappropriate.

However, Suite 8 will only consider such work when it involves consenting adults, serves a legitimate research or business purpose, and can be conducted in a manner that respects participant dignity, privacy, safety, and informed consent.

Suite 8 will not support content, products, services, or research involving sexual exploitation, coercion, non-consensual activity, or sexual content involving minors.

3. Research Participant Welfare

FResearch conducted by Suite 8 should respect the autonomy, dignity, and privacy of participants.

Suite 8 may decline or modify research activities that would:

  • Mislead participants in a materially harmful way
  • Pressure participants to disclose information they do not wish to share
  • Collect sensitive information that is unnecessary for the research objective
  • Create unreasonable physical, emotional, financial, or privacy risks
  • Circumvent appropriate consent
  • Target vulnerable participants in an exploitative manner

Where a topic is particularly personal or sensitive, Suite 8 may recommend additional safeguards, consent language, recruiting practices, or study-design changes.

4. Privacy and Confidential Information

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate rights, permissions, and lawful basis to provide Suite 8 with any information, materials, customer data, or participant information used in an engagement.

Clients should not provide regulated, highly sensitive, or restricted information unless its use has been discussed and expressly agreed upon in advance.

Suite 8 may decline to receive or process information when appropriate privacy, security, consent, or contractual safeguards are not in place.

5. Client Materials and Intellectual Property

Clients should only provide content, prototypes, data, trademarks, images, research materials, or other intellectual property that they have the right to use and share for the engagement.

Suite 8 may decline work that appears to infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of another person or organization.

6. Right to Decline or Discontinue Work

Suite 8 reserves the right to decline, pause, or discontinue an engagement that Suite 8 reasonably believes:

  • Violates this Policy
  • Violates applicable law
  • Creates inappropriate risk to research participants or others
  • Requires Suite 8 to act unethically or misrepresent research
  • Involves information or activities Suite 8 is not equipped to handle safely
  • Materially differs from the nature of the work originally disclosed

Any termination of an active paid engagement will also be subject to the applicable client agreement.

8. Questions & Contact Information

If you are unsure whether a proposed engagement is appropriate for Suite 8, you are welcome to ask before sharing sensitive materials.
